SURFACE SOLUTIONS

Surface design plays a key part of liquid-applied waterproofing and surfacing systems. The addition of slate chippings in transition areas can, for instance, match the finish perfectly to bitumen membrane, thereby creating a seamless finish.
Different granules can be used to modify the appearance of the finish and its specific technical properties. Fire-dried quartz sand in a range of particle sizes can be used to adjust the skid-resistance in line with the anticipated use of the floor surface.
The available selection of Color quartz and Deco Mix products in several colour combinations allows not only the skid-resistance, but also the colour of the surface to be varied. This wide range of options means that there are no limits to functionality, design and aesthetic appeal.

ALSAN FLOORSTONE

ALSAN FloorStone is a decorative and water-permeable system based on natural marble granules and a solvent-free, one-component PU binder. It can be applied as a decorative top coat directly to ALSAN PUR and PMMA waterproofing. Also it can be applied directly to concrete or a coating for an enhanced finish.

ALSAN DECO MIX

Specific chip mixtures can be used to provide surface colour. Eight different mixtures are available and generous amounts can be spread directly onto ALSAN 970 F self-levelling mortar or onto a special receiving layer until the entire surface is covered. Finally a transparent finish is applied to seal the decorative and skid-resistant surface on balconies or the edge of swimming pools, stairs or any areas where a colourful and functional design is required.

ALSAN Chips Pigmented surface sealer topped with decorative chips

The classic ALSAN 970 F finish in combination with multi-coloured, decorative chips is applied as a smooth surface sealer and then topped with chips as required while the resin is still wet. The chips are available in three separate colours and can be mixed to create the desired finish. The slip resistance is slightly improved by topping the resin with decorative chips.

Coloured quartz sand for topping layers of PMMA. Colour quartz is generously broadcast on top of fresh, coloured layers of PMMA. Once the resin has hardened and the excess amounts has been vacuumed off, the surface is sealed with a transparent finish.

ALSAN QUARTZ SAND

To improve the mechanical resistance properties or as a bonding coat for the subsequent build-up, such as rendering system or ceramic tiles.

ALSAN 970 F – Finish Smooth, coloured surface sealer

The classic ALSAN 970 F Finish is applied as a coloured top coat on layers of PMMA. Available in a wide range of RAL colours. For visible interfaces and surfaces to blend in better with the building or adjoining materials.

ALSAN 972 F TEXTURED SURFACING

Extremely skid-resistant finish for all heavy-duty areas, for instance traffic lanes and ramps in multi-storey car parks and wherever superior abrasion resistance is required. The textured surfacing does not have to be sealed with a finish.

Used to match existing bituminous waterproofing and improve the mechanical resistance properties.
